回路図、プリントパターン作成CAD EAGLEの部品シンボルをmicrochip社から取得する方法です。
microchip社は自社製品のCADシンボルを作って、CAD/CAE Schematic Symbols and Footprints by Accelerated Designs Ultra Librarianで公開してくれています。
このページは、HOMEの「設計&シミュレーションツール」の中にある「CAD/CAEシンボル」です。
さまざまなCADソフトに対応しているようですが、ここではEAGLEの場合を紹介します。
上記のページで方法は説明されていますが、実際にやってみました。
手順は、
①Ultra Librarianをインストールしておく(初回のみ)
②必要な部品のBXLファイルをダウンロードしておく。(.bxlファイル)
③Ultra Librarianを起動(BXLファイルをダブルクリック)し、画面でCADソフトを指定して(今回はEAGLE)、スクリプトファイルを作る。
④EAGLEのライブラリ変種画面で、作ったスクリプトを実行し部品シンボルをライブラリに登録する。
Ultra Librarianも、様々な部品のスクリプトファイルも、上記のリンクページにあります。
今回は、dsPIC33FJ64GP802のシンボルを取得してみましたが、ざっと見た感じほとんどのPICが登録されているようです。
まず、上記ページの「Ultra Librarian Installer Program for CAD/CAE Schematic Symbols」をクリックしてUltra Librarianをインストールしておきます。
次に、「dsPIC33F CAD/CAE Schematic Symbols」をクリックしてダウンロードし解凍して、中に含まれる「dsPIC33fj64gp802-x_mm.bxl」を適当なフォルダーにコピーします。
_mmはDIPパッケージですが、ほかにSOPなどのパッケージなどが用意されています(PICによって違います)
次に、dsPIC33fj64gp802-x_mm.bxlをダブルクリックして、Ultra Librarianを起動します。
Ultra Librarianの画面で、EAGLEを指定し、Export to Selected Toolボタンをクリックすると、
以下のようにレポートが表示され、フォルダーC:\UltraLibrarian\Library\Exported\Eagle\に、YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.scrというスクリプトファイルが作られます。

To import your new library into Eagle:
1. Start Eagle.
2. Select File -> New -> Library from the menu.
3. In the blank library window, select File -> Script from the menu.
4. Select the EDIF tab.
5. Browse to the correct Eagle Script file (".scr" file extension) in the file "Open" window.
The exported script file will be below the path configured in Ultra Librarian under
Options -> Configuration -> "Setup" Tab -> "CAD Exports".
6. After opening the file, the script will populate the new library.
7. Use File -> Save (or Save As..) to save the library to the desired location in Eagle native format.

スクリプトファイルができたら、EAGLEを起動しシンボルを登録したいライブラリを開いてライブラリ編集画面を表示します。
ライブラリ編集画面の ファイル->Execute Script...の順でクリックし、フォルダーC:\UltraLibrarian\Library\Exported\Eagle\のYYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS.scrを指定してスクリプトを実行します。
これでライブラリにシンボルが登録されます。
今回はdsPIC33fj64gp802-x_mm.bxlを選んだのでパッケージは28pin DIPです。
パッドのDiamaterとDrillは変更しています。
